You do not have to walk this journey alone

Pregnancy and baby loss can feel deeply isolating, but support is available.

Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, there is no right way to grieve and no set timeline for how you should feel. Some days may feel manageable, while others may feel overwhelming. Both are valid.

This page brings together trusted organisations and resources for parents, partners, siblings and families affected by miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or neonatal loss.

Support for partners and family members

Baby loss affects the whole family.

Partners, grandparents, siblings and close friends may also be grieving, even if they feel they need to remain strong for someone else. Reaching out for support is not a sign of weakness. It is a way of making space for your own experience too.

When grief feels too heavy

There may be times when grief feels impossible to carry alone. Please speak to someone you trust, contact your GP or reach out to one of the organisations above.

If you feel that you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.

A gentle reminder

You do not need to complete every page of the journal.

You can pause, skip sections, return later or leave pages blank. There is no pressure to remember everything perfectly.

Your baby mattered.
Your love is real.
Your grief deserves care.
